Nothing in life can be as gruesome as all the work it takes to serve other people. Most business ventures start very shaky and all of them reflect the owners care. The cornerstone of any business is the heart to be honest which returns honesty back to you.
When you are starting a business one of the most important things to do, beforehand, is to walk the streets, talk to others, read books, go on line and gather as much information about your future business, as you can. When I started my business, I bound together a group of CPAs into monthly meeting sessions where we discussed common problems.
Those members are still my friends after years gone by. I can still call any one of them with questions. This network of competitors was more important than new client networks. I built my firm by being generous to Non Profits, Churches and such. That returns me hundredfold.
